It’s a mindset, really. We all want the window seat. Or the room with the balcony. Or the office that faces downtown. But during our vacation, that view is unfortunately, fleeting. And if we’re fortunate enough to score a great window office, it’s only a matter of time before it loses its luster as the day-to-day grind takes over.
And thus, we can’t seem to shake that nagging feeling that something’s missing. We lose perspective. Gratitude fades. Our view could always be better, it seems. The urge never leaves. It’s inherent.
